Presidential candidate of the National Farmers’ Party (NSS), lives in Novi Karlovci. Graduated from the College of Organisation of Work. Currently a farmer. From 1996 the Secretary of the Coalition “Vojvodina”. From 2001 the Deputy in the National Assembly of Serbia.
DRAGOLJUB MICUNOVIC (1930, Toplica)
Leader of the Democratic Centre (DC), candidate of the Democratic Opposition of Serbia (DOS), with a slogan “Our President, Micunovic”. Obtained a Ph.D. at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. Initiated foundation of the Democratic Party in 1989 and became its first president in 1990. After the split up with the fraction led by Zoran Djindjic, resigned and founded the Democratic Centre in 1996. Current President of the Assembly of Serbia and Montenegro.
RADOSLAV AVLIJAS (1952, Sarajevo)
Presidential candidate of the Democratic Party “Otadzbina”. Graduated from the Faculty of Technology in Zagreb, obtained Masters degree at the Faculty of Organisational Sciences in Belgrade. President of the Presidency of Democratic Party “Otadzbina”. Married with two children.
TOMISLAV NIKOLIC (1952, Kragujevac)
Presidential candidate of the Serbian Radical Party, civil engineering technician. From 1991, Deputy in all constituencies of the National Assembly of Serbia. Vice Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia in 1998, while in 1999 was elected the Vice Prime Minister of the Federal Government of FRY. In presidential elections held in the year 2000 was third-best after Vojislav Kostunica and the leader of Socialists, Slobodan Milosevic. Married with two children.
VELIMIR ILIC(1951, Cacak)
Leader of “Nova Srbija”. Graduated from the Faculty of Technology in Belgrade. First political engagement in the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) in 1990; in the 1996 elections defeated Socialists and became the Mayor of Cacak. Two years later founded “Nova Srbija” and is still its leader. Currently the Deputy in the Assembly of Serbia and Montenegro. Married with five children.
