Campaign " With You It Does Make Sense"
During the period December 13, 2006 – January 17, 2007, CeSID has organized a series of direct voter contact activities, aiming at motivating voters to take part in early parliamentary election called for January 21, 2007.
Campaign included following segments:
- Telephone canvassing
- Direct mail campaign
- Door-to-door canvassing
1. Telephone canvassing
Telephone campaign has been conducted in the period December 13, 2006 – January 6, 2007. This aspect of campaign was performed during a total of 21 working days. It was conducted by 60 CeSID's call center operators who called citizens to vote in the fallowing elections.
2. Direct mail
During this aspect of the campaign, CeSID mailed total of 1,500,000 letters to names and addresses of 600,000 potential voters. Campaign was especially addressed to minorities and young voters.
3. Door-to-door canvassing
Door to door campaign was conducted in the period January 8 – 17, 2007, in three largest cities in Serbia: Belgrade, Nis, and Novi Sad.
This aspect of campaign was carried out by 1,500 CeSID's activists who perambulate 150,000 households. Trough distribution of campaign material and direct conversation, CeSID's activists tried to persuade citizens to vote on the fallowing elections.
