On Tuesday, Oktober 2nd, Centre for Free Election and Democracy (CeSID), held press conference at Belgrade Media Center where the results of latest public opinion research were present.

Project announcement “Models and recommendations on efficient exercising of voting rights of Diaspora”

In cooperation with the Ministry for Diaspora, Republic of Serbia, CeSID will realize the project “Models and recommendations on efficient exercising of voting rights of Diaspora”. The project deals with the analysis of the present practice of voting of Diaspora, making recommendations on ways of improving the voting of Diaspora, as well as with the analysis of institutional capacities for administering Diaspora voting. The project will result in a study that will be presented in the letter part of November. The Project will be carried out from 1st September to 1st December 2007.

Commencement of public opinion research

In the next two weeks CeSID will realize the second field research on the project “Through identification of the problem towards its solution-strengthening public institutions capacities for the prevention of potential conflicts”. The research deals with the perception of problems and conditions of life, expectations and aspirations of Serbian citizens. The research findings will be presented at the press conference, which will be conducted in the latter part of September. The public and the media will be duly informed about it.
